Biography

Originally called The Internees of Hate, Red Skylines was formed in April 2016 by Huw Trystan (guitar/vocals) and Cameron Loxton (drums). They later recruited Connor Karagianis on bass and Elinor Edwards (Huw's sister) on keyboards. They performed their first gig on 9 December 2016 at Cathays Community Centre.
Shortly after, the band decided to change their name to Project Killjoy. In April 2017, Cam Gross joined the band as an additional guitarist and vocalist. However, in September 2017, Cameron Loxton left the band allowing Gross to take over on drums. The band soon got bored with the name Project Killjoy, and after some weeks of unsuccessful brainstorming, the band finally settled on Red Skylines.
That same month, the band entered the studio to begin recording their songs. For a few weeks, the band recruited Oscar Sebestyen-Regan on guitar but he was soon kicked out. Elinor had also left the band a few days before.
Finally, in early December the band released its first single "Away". Since then, the band has been performing gigs and writing and recording music.
